Prior to working with Payroll Data, the customer’s provider routinely waited days to receive callbacks on basic payroll questions. In looking for a new provider, the customer was very happy to learn about Payroll Data’s commitment to service.

All Payroll Data customers are assigned a dedicated payroll professional to work with them on every payroll. Today, Payroll Data’s support team has an average of over 16 years processing payroll, plus each Payroll Data support member has an average tenure of over five years supporting customers. Reporting

Prior to working with Payroll Data, the customer could not fully access all of its payroll information. The primary reason for this was that the previous provider’s report writing was very complicated for the customer to use.

Payroll Data’s report engine is very simple for clients to master. This means they can now access payroll information and create custom reports quickly so the entire customer management team can get answers to business intelligence questions within a few minutes.

For complex business reports, the Payroll Data support team is a true resource, delivering customer reports in a timely manner. Now the customer is able to view 403B and Flex Spending reports in minutes!

Pre-Process View

Payroll Data is able to offer all clients real-time access to payroll information throughout the payroll process. This is a positive improvement for the customer. Prior to converting to Payroll Data, the customer had to “exchange” files with their national provider which created a correction problem.

A pre-process report allows payroll administrators the ability to view their payroll prior to submitting it for final processing. When an administrator has to wait for a pre-process report to come back from the provider, this time delay can cause administrators to run or submit payroll before reviewing a pre-process report. This scenario increases the likelihood of having to run a secondary process to correct errors.

In working with Payroll Data, customers get real-time information on payroll whenever they are working within payroll. In fact, there is no need for a pre-process report because Payroll Data delivers real-time views of the entire payroll. This is a tremendous advancement when working on payrolls with very limited submission windows. Today, the customer is able to submit every payroll with confidence!

403b Export File

Like many non-profits, this customer offers employees a 403B retirement benefit. Payroll Data was able to create a simple to use custom report which the customer uses to complete its transmittal of employee information back to their 403B provider after each payroll is processed. This report-automated process, that used to be completed manually, cuts cost, saves time, and virtually eliminates 403B errors.

Easy Payroll Functionality

This customer was looking for payroll solutions easy to manage and worked within its complex payroll environment.  One challenge facing the customer was how to properly manage four separate Federal Employer Identification numbers. Fortunately, the Payroll Data support team regularly assists customers with this situation.

Today, the customer can easily process payroll for all four business entities. The Payroll Data support team takes care of all the reporting needs, consolidating information from all four EINs. This commitment to service allows the customer to save additional time and resources in managing its business.

Payroll Data brought the customer a complete solution to simplify processing new hires and simplify general payroll entry. The customer now uses a simple new hire wizard that walks through the process of setting up every new hire. In addition, payroll entry is simplified because Payroll Data configured custom client pay information as dropdown items within the payroll application reducing keying errors and decreasing the total amount of time required to enter employee information.

 Lastly, the customer was extremely happy to use an application that combined Payroll, Time & Labor Management, and HRIS within one system. One consolidated database brings data from all three areas into one easy application. Plus, employees and managers only need to remember one code to access information for payroll, time management, and HR.

Time Management:

Before working with Payroll Data, employees were frustrated with the complexity of the Time Management system. The scheduling function was very limited and did not meet the needs of management. The Payroll Data Time and Labor Management solution today offers them complete scheduling features and has simplified employee access.
